Skype

Sometimes the kids get to Skype with their grandparents that live out-of-state. Today they got to talk to Grandma Susan and Grandpa Richard. They read books over the laptop and have nice little conversations. Here are some photos of their chat today. 

Pizza

We love to eat pizza and we love to make pizza. Thanks to a facebook feed from Sweet Basil we were inspired to have our own pizza for dinner. We topped ours with artichoke hearts, black olives, mushrooms and peperoncinis. Ellie loves to help me spread the cheese, although if I'm not careful she'll eat half of it.

Potty thoughts

Tonight as I was putting Ellie to bed I asked her when she would be ready to use the toilet (instead of diapers). She responded "When I'm a big d'rl" I asked her when that would be. She said "When I'm 9." I told her that was a very long time and I wasn't sure they made diapers that big. I gave her a hug and she said "But your hair smells like a lady."

Ellie

I have been riding my bike to work lately. On this day I was tired so I laid down on the sofa and put my feet up. Ellie decided it would be fun to brush my hair and style it. We both enjoyed it.

After dinner it was time for a bath. I was across the hall doing something and looked up to see this sight. She really knows how to rock a tub.
