Levi will now give me "five" when prompted. He is clapping more often, and can cover his ears. He is trying some new vegetables as we eat them, I give him a little and he makes faces but seems to enjoy the new textures.

This morning Levi announced he is ready to have his mattress lowered by climbing out. He has a bruise on his head but is otherwise ok. It was our first scare with him falling. We are having a lot of snow fall, it is the most snow that we have seen all winter but the temp is 33 so it is not really sticking.

Levi is eating strained peaches now and enjoying them. According to my book he is old enough for stage 2 foods now but we will get through the rest of the stage 1s I have first I guess.

February 17/18 2007

The weather has been in the 50s so Saturday we took a four mile walk with ma KP, and Sunday afternoon I took Levi out again in the stroller and walked with Lara for about 3 miles. Levi's movie premier party was a lot of fun. Pizza was served up along with some good salad and everyone watched the movie at least twice.

Levi is seven months old today. I took some naked photos of him for Valentines. I tried to be tasteful and showed only his bum. We forgot to weigh him this month! Whoops!

Tonight Levi had his first taste of a virgin Margarita. He loooooved it and had a death grip on the glass. At this stage in his life he is eating his baby oatmeal for brunch, he claps, and has cut his first two teeth (bottom center). Still scooting around in circles and backwards. He rolls over more often, especially in his crib...many times I go in to check on him and he is no longer how I left him! He has been a joy, even with a few fussy moments teething.

We have been taking Levi once a week to the YMCA for open family swim time in the warm pool. He loves it but sometimes there are rowdy kids that splash more than I would like. The twins Thomas and Taylor join us also.
