I can see four little teeth trying to come through today, all uppers. Today in Cradle Roll we had a special visitor - a miniature horse mare and foal from Carousel farms. That was a real treat! Levi patted the mare on the shoulder. He seemed to have the most fun however in the sandbox.

My suspicisions are confirmed, Levi is cutting teeth again, we felt the edge of a topper this morning.

On a whim we decided to take Levi in to Wal-Mart's studio to get his 8 month photo this time (yes I know, its a week late). We chose a background with a pond and tire swing, and sat him down on a green fuzzy cloth. He smiled for the photographer ONCE, she got the photo and it was downhill from there. Levi had enough and wanted out of there. "We lost him" I said. Thankfully that one photo was a cute one and we got the "package" for about $6. Hopefully the quality will be good for that price. After that we walked him in the stroller over to His Garden as it was Sushi night. Levi had some rice and was more fussy than usual. I think he's teething.

Another baby shower (Darcia). This time Levi crawled around a little with the other kids, but mostly sat on my lap, content. Sampled some of my food and listened in on the grown-ups conversations.

We went to La Sombrero tonight for Auntie Tina's birthday. We got a 4-generation photo of Levi with Matt, his dad and his grandmother. Levi tried the Horchata and really liked it. He also got to play with a balloon and made a great deal of noise by dragging his palm over it.

Eight months old today! Where has the time gone? A weight check reveals he is 19 lbs 4 oz and 27" tall today.

Today was a big day for the little guy. At Jenee's baby shower this afternoon Levi pulled himself up to standing for the first time on a wicker footstool. He is crawling over anything he can find. He is really enjoying his time on the floor now. He is sitting up on his knees also. He also crawled over to the dogs water dish tonight and dumped it all over the floor and himself, then proceeded to splash around. Silly kid!

Levi crawls for the first time! He got up on all fours, looked ahead and saw the dog dish, made an excited sound and went right for it. When Matt called me at work to tell me I could hear Levi banging the dish around in the background. He is getting cuter every day! He can walk by holding onto my fingers for assistance. He is grabbing onto the side of the tub, standing up and inching over to his toy bucket and pulling out his favorites. He can also stand by holding onto the ottoman. He also smiles for the camera tonight (usually I have to trick him)
